Char Mason launched Char Mason & Associates, a communications and events business in 1999. Since then, she has been delivering creative, exciting and inspiring results through event production, collateral development and communication.

Before opening her business, Char served as Executive Director of the Grand Avenue Business Association and Festival Director of Grand Old Day, the Midwest's largest one-day street festival. Previously, she directed marketing and events for the interior design and home furnishings industries at International Market Square in Minneapolis. Some of her clients include the Saint Paul Mayor's 2006 Inaugural, Hormel Foods Corporation, the Saint Paul Riverfront Corporation, District Energy, Grand Excursion, Inc., the Minneapolis Institute of Arts and Twin Cities Public Television.

Char is an active member of the American Marketing Association, the International Special Events Society, and the Saint Paul Convention & Visitors Bureau.
